Alex Koriath is the Head of EMEA and a Partner at Cambridge Associates.
Alex works with pension and insurance clients across Europe and leads client teams that advise on and manage private markets and hedge fund portfolios. He provides expertise in investment strategy, risk management, and portfolio construction, leveraging more than two decades of experience incorporating private investments into institutional portfolios to help investors achieve their long-term objectives.
As Head of EMEA, Alex chairs the EMEA Regional Operating Committee, which executes CA’s strategy across its five offices in the region. He drives business growth, coordinates and balances regional resource needs, and leads strategic transformation initiatives. He represents EMEA on CA’s global leadership team and has led CA’s EMEA Retirement, Insurance & Government Practice for more than a decade.
Alex is dedicated to investment and finance education. He serves on the selection committee for academic scholarships at the German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes) and has previously lectured in Corporate Financial Management at HDBW Munich and taught finance at the London School of Economics. He has also been a member of the CFA Society UK’s Exams and Education Committee.
Prior to joining CA, Alex was Head of Manager Research at KPMG’s investment advisory team. His earlier roles include positions at Hewitt Bacon & Woodrow and Allianz Insurance Group.
Alex holds an MSc in Finance and Accounting from the London School of Economics and a BA (Hons) from Portsmouth Business School. He is also a CFA® charterholder.
