Alex Koriath, CFA

Head of Pension Practice, Europe

Alex Koriath is the Head of the European Pension Practice at Cambridge Associates.

Alex oversees the firm’s work with pension and insurance clients across Europe. He also serves a number of those clients as their OCIO, advising on strategy, risk management, and asset allocation. Alex draws on his vast experience incorporating private and alternative investments into pension schemes’ strategies to help his clients work towards their long-term funding targets.

In addition to his work as an investor, Alex is a part-time teacher of Finance at the London School of Economics. He also chairs the CFA Society UK’s Structured Learning working group and sits on its Exams and Education Committee.

Prior to joining CA, Alex was Head of Manager Research for KPMG’s Investment advisory team. Before his time at KPMG, Alex also worked with Hewitt Bacon & Woodrow and Allianz Insurance Group.

Alex received his MSc in Finance and Accounting from the London School of Economics and his BA (Hons) from Portsmouth Business School. He is also a CFA® charterholder.
