Sophie Cartwright-Bain

Investment Director, Private Investments

Sophie Cartwright-Bain is an Investment Director at Cambridge Associates.

Sophie is part of the EMEA Private Equity and Venture Capital Research Team based in London. She is focused on manager relationships and fund due diligence for primary investments from pre-seed venture through to large-cap private equity.

Sophie has over ten years of private investments experience. Before joining Cambridge Associates in 2022, Sophie managed direct investments at PEAL Capital Partners, a UK-based private equity firm. Earlier in her career, Sophie provided corporate finance advisory services to both owner-managed businesses and private equity funds across Europe whilst working at Clearwater International.

Sophie received her LLB (Hons) in Law from Anglia Ruskin University and received her PGDL from Manchester University of Law.
