Philip oversees the operational infrastructure that supports our investment teams and client portfolios.
Philip joined Cambridge Associates in 1999 and has more than 20 years of experience as an investor. Throughout his tenure at the firm, Philip has held a number of leadership positions, most recently as President. He also served as Head of our Private Client Practice where he oversaw the construction of investment portfolios for the firm’s family office clients. Philip has worked with a variety of private clients and institutional investors on developing sound investment policies, building customized asset allocations, manager selection and monitoring, and building private investment portfolios. He also established the firm’s Single Investor Fund (SIF) service to enable clients to effectively build complex alternative asset portfolios. Philip has shared his expertise as a speaker at both client and industry conferences.
Before joining Cambridge Associates, Philip was an investment banking associate at Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette, where he gained experience within their private fund group. He also served as Vice President of Goodale Associates, a fundraising consulting firm, managing the firm’s day-to-day activities for several clients’ fundraising efforts. Philip earned an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BA from Williams College.
