Nita Patel is a Managing Director for the Endowment & Foundation Practice at Cambridge Associates.

Nita manages portfolios for foundations, colleges & universities, arts institutions, independent schools, and private clients in the US.

Nita is a frequent speaker on topics such as active versus passive management, endowment returns, and incorporating the science of climate change into investor portfolios. She is also a global board member of CA Women, a firmwide employee resource group.

Prior to joining Cambridge Associates in 2007, Nita worked at Alliance Bernstein in Domestic Growth Equity Research, covering various technology sectors, and co-managed a Long/Short Technology Fund. Previously, Nita interned at Fidelity Investments as a High Yield Research Analyst and worked as an Investments Analyst at Shell Oil Company Pension Trust in Houston. Before attending business school, Nita was the Head Equities Trader for Investment Research Company.

Nita received her MBA from University of Chicago and her BBA in Finance & Accounting, summa cum laude, from University of Houston. She is a CFA® charterholder and she speaks basic Gujarati.
