Chris Ivey is the Global Head of the Private Client Practice and a Partner at Cambridge Associates.
Based in the firm’s London office, Chris leads a team of more than 75 senior investment professionals serving over 270 family clients globally. He began his investment career at Cambridge Associates in 2005 and brings more than 20 years of experience advising sophisticated family offices and overseeing custom investment portfolios.
Prior to becoming Global Head of the Private Client Practice, Chris led the firm’s European Private Client Practice, where he advised institutional investors and private clients across asset classes, serving portfolios ranging from $200 million to multiple billions. He also regularly speaks at leading industry conferences and helps drive the development of new capabilities for Cambridge Associates’ private client audience.
Before joining Cambridge Associates, Chris was a Director at Almeida Capital where he advised private equity firms on the fundraising, marketing, and structuring of their funds. Earlier in his career, he worked in Debt Capital Markets at Merrill Lynch and began his career as a structured finance lawyer with Linklaters.
Chris holds an MBA from IESE Business School in, where he continues to serve on the Investment Committee, as well as an LPC and CPE from York College of Law and a BA from Christ’s College at University of Cambridge. Chris is also a Qualified Lawyer.
