Aljosa Aleksandrovic, CAIA

Head of Risk Management

Aljosa Aleksandrovic is the Head of Risk Management and a Senior Director at Cambridge Associates AG.

Based in Zurich, Aljosa is responsible for investment and enterprise risk management, overseeing a variety of integration and technology development projects. Additionally, he is a member of the EMEA Risk Committee as part of the First-Line Risk and Compliance Assembly (FLRA).

Aljosa began his career in 2006 at Man Group (formerly RMF) as a Quantitative Analyst focused on convertible bond investment management and leveraged finance. He later became a Founding Partner and member of the executive management team at Arve Asset Management AG, a specialist investment boutique focused on convertible bonds. There, he led quantitative research, analysis, and development, and held several senior control and operational roles, including Chief Risk Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, ESG Officer, and Head of IT.

He holds a Master’s degree in Economics (Finance), with a focus on Quantitative Finance, from the University of Zurich. In addition, he holds the Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF), is a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), and holds the Dipl. Swiss Fund Officer (FA/IAF) qualification.
