Scott Martin

Head of Global Co-investments

Scott is a Partner and Head of Global Co-investments at Cambridge Associates.

Scott is a founding member of the team that established the firm’s Global Private Equity Co-investment platform in 2015. He is responsible for all aspects of the sourcing and due diligence process and oversees all internal team management.

Scott has nearly ten years of direct private equity and mergers and acquisition experience and more than 20 years of broader investment experience. In his previous roles at the firm, Scott constructed custom private investment portfolios and worked with a variety of universities, foundations, families, retirement plans, and other institutional investors ranging in size from $100 million to $30 billion.

Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Scott was an investment professional with Thoma Bravo and Polaris Partners, where he focused on middle-market buyout and growth equity transactions across a range of sectors. Scott also previously worked at Aspen Technology, a publicly traded software company where he helped lead corporate development activities, and served as an investment banker for Adams, Harkness & Hill.

Scott received his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and his BA from Dartmouth College.
