Wesley Swackhamer is a Managing Director for the Private Client Practice at Cambridge Associates.

Wes works with a variety of private clients and endowments, specializing in private investment manager selection and portfolio construction. He has performed due diligence across a wide range of private investment strategies, including buyout, growth equity, venture capital (VC), real estate, and credit funds. Additionally, while leading the Alternative Assets team, Wes oversaw the design and implementation of the firm’s private equity exposure model.

Wes joined Cambridge Associates in 2008. As a Senior Investment Associate, he worked as an integral team member for private clients and endowments constructing diversified, global private investment portfolios. Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, he was a professional baseball player for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Wes received his MBA from Boston University and his BS from Tulane University.
