Chris Sanchez, CFA

Investment Director - Retirement, Insurance & Government Practice

Chris Sanchez is an Investment Director for the Retirement, Insurance & Government Practice at Cambridge Associates.

Chris serves a diverse range of pension clients, including corporations, healthcare institutions, and public plans. He leverages his years of experience in conducting investment due diligence and research across the investment landscape to craft customized portfolios that align with each client’s specific goals and needs. Since joining the firm in 2023, Chris has conducted due diligence on a number of private investing managers including small cap buyouts and impact-related venture capital firms.

Outside of his work as an investor, Chris is a Fellow at the New England Impact Investing Initiative (NEIII), an organization dedicated to leading community-driven initiatives that seek to diversify the talent pipeline in impact investing and sustainable finance.

Before joining Cambridge Associates, Chris was an Impact Investing Fellow at the Turner MBA Impact Investing Network & Training (MIINT), a global experiential impact investing program, where he evaluated and presented social enterprise investment opportunities to a panel of judges.

Chris received his MBA from Boston University and his Bachelors in Business Administration from Temple University. He is a CFA® charterholder.
