Alex MacDonald is an Associate Director at Cambridge Associates.

Alex is a member of CA’s San Francisco office, where he supports new business development and helps manage new client relationships across the Western United States. He also works across the Private Client Practice to support and strengthen client relationships, bringing a collaborative and relationship-focused approach to business development. Alex has been with Cambridge Associates for five years.

Alex was the founding co-chair of Cambridge Associates’ Ability Employee Resource Group, which is dedicated to expanding opportunities and fostering inclusion for employees with disabilities. In this role, he helped champion efforts to build greater awareness, support, and community for people with disabilities both within Cambridge Associates and in our community.

Outside of work, Alex is the Deputy Commissioner for the Olympic Club’s rugby team.

Alex received his BBA in Finance from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington.
