Wade O’Brien

Managing Director, Capital Markets Research

Wade O’Brien is a Managing Director for the Capital Markets Research team at Cambridge Associates.

Wade joined the firm in 2009 and has almost 25 years of industry experience. Wade is a macro strategist who focuses on asset allocation research and specializes in credit. He is a regular speaker at internal and external conferences and serves as a resource for both clients of the firm and the broader consulting staff. His perspectives have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Private Debt Investor, and other publications.

Additionally, Wade is a member of the firm’s Tactical Asset Allocation Committee and Credit Investment Ratings Committee.

Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Wade worked as a Vice President for Deutsche Bank in London, advising European financial institutions on debt and equity issuance. He also worked in municipal finance at Hutchinson, Shockey, Erley & Co.

Wade received his MBA in Finance from Yale School of Management and his BA in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.
