Sukari Gaylor

Investment Director, Endowment & Foundation Practice

Sukari Gaylor is an Investment Director for the Endowment & Foundation Practice at Cambridge Associates.

Sukari joined Cambridge Associates in 2023 and has 11 years of professional experience. She works with endowment and foundation clients specializing in private investment portfolio construction, asset allocation strategy, manager selection, and investment program evaluation. She is also heavily involved in talent recruitment and mentoring efforts at the firm.

In 2023 Sukari received the Forte Foundation’s Edie Hunt Inspiration Award for her contributions to advancing women in business and in 2024 she was named to the Pensions & Investments Class of rising stars in institutional investing.

Before joining Cambridge Associates, Sukari focused on healthcare investing through internships at SteelSky Ventures, Sands Capital, and Anacapa Partners while earning her MBA. Prior to that, she worked on growth equity transactions at Camden Partners while managing the $5M fund established by the Governor of Maryland to support early-stage tech businesses affected by COVID-19. Preceding Camden, Sukari worked in the Financial Advisory practice at Deloitte.

She received an MBA from the University of Virginia and a BS in Civil Engineering from New York University.
