Scolet Ma is a Senior Investment Director at Cambridge Associates.
Scolet evaluates private investment opportunities across Asia, with a focus on China. She is a member of the private equity/venture capital investment team. Originally based in the Beijing office, she relocated to Singapore in 2024.
Before joining Cambridge Associates in 2022, Scolet spent 13 years at China Investment Corporation (CIC). In the early years, she helped CIC build its initial public market portfolios. She then contributed to building CIC’s Private Equity Investment Platform, and she also played a major role in building CIC’s Global TMT Private Equity Portfolio through Fund Investments, Direct, and Co-Investments. Scolet started her career in investment banking with HSBC and UBS, where she worked in London, New York, and Hong Kong in their IBD and capital market divisions.
Scolet received her Msc in Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics, and her Bsc (First Class Honours) in Management Sciences from University of Warwick. She is fluent in Mandarin.
