Benjamin Chong is the Chief Operating Officer for Cambridge Associates’ APAC offices, based in Singapore.
In this role, Benjamin partners with the APAC Regional Head to lead strategic planning, financial analysis, and operational execution across the region. He serves as a key liaison among the firm’s leadership across departments and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, compliance, and risk management. Benjamin also supports team development, manages cross-functional initiatives, and provides analytical and project support to drive business growth, enhance client service, and facilitate the adoption of new tools and processes throughout APAC.
Prior to his current role, Benjamin was the APAC Lead for Operations at Cambridge Associates, overseeing Portfolio Implementation Management and Transaction Services in the region after rejoining the firm in 2022. Between his tenures at Cambridge Associates, Benjamin worked at Euroclear FundsPlace, where he was responsible for business development and relationship management with APAC-based fund managers, and led the negotiation of intermediary distribution agreements.
Benjamin began his career with Cambridge Associates in 2012 within the Client Reporting Group, where he eventually led the team responsible for all EMEA and APAC client reporting needs.
Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) degree with majors in Finance and Operations Management from Singapore Management University.
