Sukari Brown

Sukari Brown is an Investment Director for the Endowment & Foundation Practice at Cambridge Associates.

Sukari joined Cambridge Associates in 2023 and has nearly five years of experience in the investment industry and ten years of professional experience overall. She works with endowment and foundation clients specializing in private investment portfolio construction, asset allocation strategy, manager selection, and investment program evaluation.

She is also heavily involved in talent recruitment efforts at the firm and is a participant in Ignite, Cambridge Associates’ mentorship program.

Outside of work, she volunteers by offering free coaching sessions for individuals interested in pursuing an MBA and/or a career in private investments. Sukari received the 2023 Forte Foundation’s Edie Hunt Inspiration Award for her contributions to advancing women in business.

Before joining Cambridge Associates, Sukari focused on healthcare investing through internships at SteelSky Ventures, Sands Capital, and Anacapa Partners while earning her MBA. Prior to that, she worked on growth equity transactions at Camden Partners while managing the $5M fund established by the Governor of Maryland to support early-stage tech businesses affected by COVID-19. Preceding Camden, Sukari worked in the Financial Advisory practice at Deloitte.

She received an MBA from the University of Virginia and a BS in Civil Engineering from New York University.
