Ratana is member of the Sustainable and Impact Investing (SII) team. Based out of the firm’s Zurich office he works across the Global Investment Research and Global Investment Services groups. He is responsible for the sourcing and diligence of fund managers with leading SII strategies across asset classes with focus on impact investing in private markets as well as supporting clients in achieving their sustainability and financial objectives by building tailor-made multi-manager portfolios. In addition, he manages existing client mandates in the ILS space.

Previously, Ratana Tra was Portfolio Manager and Partner at SIGLO Capital Advisors AG (SIGLO), a Zurich-based investment advisor specialising in alternative investments such as ILS, private debt, drawdown management and impact investing. In November 2024, SIGLO was acquired by Cambridge Associates.

He first joined SIGLO from 2014 to 2016 as a Senior Fund Analyst, then worked as Portfolio Manager at a microfinance-focused asset manager before returning to SIGLO as Partner, ILS Portfolio Manager and Head of Impact Investing. Prior to SIGLO, Ratana worked at Man Group, where his last role was portfolio manager of FoHF mandates.

He holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of St. Gallen and a CEMS Master’s in International Management. He is also a CFA Charterholder.

Ratana speaks Khmer, German, English, French and Spanish.
