Michael Dill

Senior Investment Director

Michael Dill is a Senior Investment Director at Cambridge Associates AG.

Michael is a member of the Hedge Fund Research group, specializing in liquid risk mitigation strategies. Based in the Zurich office, he develops tailor-made portfolio solutions by combining liquid strategy building blocks with complementary crisis behavior. Through thoughtful fund  and strategy selection and weighting, he manages mandates and helps institutional investors enhance their portfolio’s resilience, particularly during challenging market environments.

Previously, Michael Dill was Portfolio Manager and Partner at SIGLO Capital Advisors AG (SIGLO), a Zurich-based investment advisor specialising in alternative investments such as ILS, private debt, drawdown management and impact investing. In November 2024, SIGLO was acquired by Cambridge Associates.

Michael started his career in 2005 at Credit Suisse AM in the FoHF department, working in Zurich and London from 2007 as a hedge fund analyst focusing on diversifying hedge fund strategies. From 2010, he managed FoHF mandates for institutional clients. Prior to SIGLO (2016), he was a senior hedge fund analyst and investment committee member at Harcourt Investment Consulting AG, which was subsequently acquired by Bank Vontobel AG.

He holds an MSc in business and economics from the University of Basel with a major in finance, controlling and banking.
