Ethan Finkelstein is an Investment Director for the Private Client Practice at Cambridge Associates.
Based in New York City, Ethan supports endowments and family offices to implement private investment portfolios. He works with a variety of clients but specializes in those with an interest in sustainable and impact investing. He sits on multiple Sustainable and Impact Investing Solutions working groups.
Ethan is also a member of CA Pride, the firm’s employee resource group dedicated to representing LGBTQ+ employees. He also serves as a mentor for CAMPP, a CA-sponsored program focused on private investments for college students from diverse backgrounds.
Outside of work, Ethan serves on the boards of two non-profits. One is a New York City-based organization that provides job training programs for justice-involved youth. The other is a children’s education center in Cambodia.
Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Ethan served as a Venture Fellow with Recast Capital, a platform that invests in and supports emerging venture capital managers from underrepresented backgrounds. He also previously worked for a New York based foundation where he managed grant investments and impact measurement efforts.
Ethan holds an MBA from Georgetown University and a BA from Tufts University. He speaks English, French, and Hebrew.
