Ethan Finkelstein is an Investment Director for the Private Client Practice at Cambridge Associates.
Based in New York City, Ethan supports family offices and ultra high-net-worth individuals to implement private investment portfolios. He works with a variety of families but specializes in those with an interest in sustainable and impact investing. He sits on multiple Sustainable and Impact Investing Solutions working groups.
Ethan is also a member of CA Pride, the firm’s employee resource group dedicated to representing LGBTQ+ employees. He also serves as a mentor for CAMPP, a CA-sponsored program focused on private investments for college students.
Outside of work, Ethan serves on the boards of two non-profits. One is a New York City-based organization that provides job training programs for justice-involved youth. The other is a children’s education center in Cambodia.
Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Ethan served as a Venture Fellow with Recast Capital, a platform that invests in and supports emerging managers from underrepresented backgrounds. He also previously worked for a New York based foundation where he managed grant investments and impact measurement efforts.
Ethan holds an MBA from Georgetown University and a BA from Tufts University. He speaks English, French, and Hebrew.
