Sean Duffin

Senior Investment Director, Capital Markets Research

Sean Duffin is a Senior Investment Director for the Capital Markets Research team at Cambridge Associates.

Sean joined the firm in 2008. As a member of the Capital Markets Research team, he regularly writes investment research and market insights for the firm. Sean has published research on a variety of topics, including global equity diversification, cryptocurrencies, and political impacts on markets.

In addition to his role, he is a voting member of the Tactical Asset Allocation Committee, which governs a portfolio of tactical investment views, and is responsible for regular coverage of several asset classes. Sean also leads the Capital Markets R Team, which leverages the R programming language to build advanced financial models and charts.

Previously, he spent four years as the editor of Market Matters, a monthly report reviewing drivers of market performance.

Sean received his MBA from Virginia Tech University and his BSBA in Finance from Shippensburg University.
