Senior Investment Director, Sustainable & Impact Investing
Marie Ang is a Senior Investment Director at Cambridge Associates.
Marie conducts investment due diligence on sustainable and impact investment opportunities and thematic research in areas of strategic importance, such as enhancing CA’s work across engagement and stewardship activities. Additionally, she supports client portfolios in developing approaches for greater sustainability outcomes.
She has worked in impact investing since 2015 and was part of the team that launched SVX, an impact investing firm spun out of MaRS Discovery District in Toronto, Canada. There, she developed and led investor strategy and innovation services. Marie also has experience conducting due diligence and supporting a portfolio of ventures with growth and impact management needs. Early on in her career, Marie worked in international development and gained experience in Tanzania, Palestine, and Indonesia, where she focused on entrepreneurship and economic development.
Marie received her MBA from London Business School and her BSc (GRS) Hons in Resource Economics from the University of British Columbia.
