Gretchen M. Curry

Global Head of Private Client Practice

Gretchen Curry is the Global Head of the Private Client Practice and a Partner at Cambridge Associates.

She leads the team of 75+ senior investment professionals who partner with and deliver custom portfolios to 270+ global family clients. Since becoming head of the Private Client Practice in 2023, Gretchen has hosted the firm’s Global Family Summit, appeared on stage at investment conferences globally, and championed the development of new capabilities important to Cambridge Associates’ private client audience. Gretchen has been an investor at CA for more than 20 years.

Additionally, she has held several leadership roles during her tenure at the firm, including leading the firm’s work with more than 250 endowment, foundation, and healthcare clients for seven years. Prior to that, she led the investment team located at the firm’s global headquarters in Boston.

Beyond her work as an investor, Gretchen is a founding member of CA Allies, the firm’s employee resource group dedicated to promoting, supporting, and amplifying the voices of underrepresented colleagues. She also serves as a Trustee of First Religious Society in Carlisle, Massachusetts.

Gretchen began her career in equity research at Putnam Investments. She also was a Director for San Francisco-based Achieva College Prep Centers.

She received her MBA from Dartmouth College and her AB in Economics from Princeton University.
