Dan Lax is an Investment Director for the Retirement, Insurance & Government Practice at Cambridge Associates.
Dan joined the firm in 2023. He serves several institutional clients, including corporations, healthcare institutions, and public pension plans. Dan has extensive experience in investment due diligence and research across the investment landscape, with a focus on the private credit space. This expertise enables him to develop custom portfolios that align with his clients’ individualized investment goals.
Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Dan was a principal at Exitory, a go-to-market and investment consultant for Israel-based startups and venture fund managers. He also has experience with Greenspring Associates, a venture fund-of-funds manager, and CatchLight Capital, a venture secondary manager. He began his career in the Israeli Special Forces community.
Dan received his MBA from the University of Chicago and his Bachelors in Economics from Ben-Gurion University. He speaks fluent English and Hebrew.
