Nick Shea is a Managing Director for the Private Client Practice at Cambridge Associates.
Nick is responsible for managing client portfolios and helping families navigate asset allocation strategy, manager selection, and risk management. He is also involved with the firm’s Sustainable and Impact Investing efforts and manages impact-focused portfolios.
Before joining Cambridge Associates, Nick served as a Summer Associate at J.P. Morgan Private Bank in both San Francisco and New York. Prior to his graduate studies, he worked at Compass Lexecon, an economic consultancy, where he performed financial and economic analyses to support securities litigations spanning across futures and options markets, structured finance, and hedge funds. Born and raised in Paris, Nick moved to the United States for college but has also spent time studying and living in Taiwan and Mainland China.
Nick received his MBA from the University of California, Berkeley and his BA from Georgetown University. He is a CFA® charterholder.
