Ming Yan is a Managing Director at Cambridge Associates.
Ming serves as an OCIO and lead investment advisor to institutional and family office clients including endowments, pensions, family offices, and foundations. She has worked with clients totaling over $20 billion in assets, implementing investments across private and public asset classes. Ming’s tenure at Cambridge Associates spans across the globe working with clients in Europe, Asia, and the U.S. She most recently spent 3 years in the Singapore office leading Asian institutional and family office clients.
Ming represents Cambridge Associates as a speaker at various leading industry investment conferences, and she is the author of thought pieces on pension liability-hedging strategies and private investing for pensions. She is a member of the firm’s Public Growth Research Investment Committee.
Ming began her investment career as an investment banking analyst in the Global Technology Group at UBS Investment Bank. She was an early member of the secondaries investment team at AlpInvest Partners in New York, where she invested capital on behalf of the firm’s secondary fund.
Ming received her MBA from Harvard Business School and her BA, summa cum laude, from Wellesley College. In addition to English, Ming speaks Mandarin and Shanghai dialect.
