Annachiara Marcandalli is the Global Head of Sustainability & Impact Investing Solutions and a Partner at Cambridge Associates.

Annachiara joined the firm in 2000 and has more than 25 years of experience at Cambridge Associates. She advises endowments, foundations and family offices across the UK, Europe, and the US. She has served as lead CIO for sustainability-integrated portfolios totalling more than $5 billion, including Net Zero portfolios targeting carbon neutrality.

Annachiara chairs the firm’s Global Sustainability and Impact Leadership Team and serves on the Cambridge Associates Ltd Board and Global Investing Leadership Team. Previously, she was the firm’s Co-Head of the European Endowment & Foundation Practice.

She has led research and authored thought leadership on sustainable investing and is a frequent speaker at client and industry conferences.

Annachiara is also a former Partner Ambassador for CA Women, the firm’s employee resource group dedicated to cultivating an inclusive culture for women.

Outside of Cambridge Associates, Annachiara serves on the Fundraising Advisory Committee for L’Arche UK.

Prior to joining the firm, Annachiara worked in investment banking at Lazard in Milan and was a project manager at Infinity-Sungard in London.

Annachiara received her MBA from Yale School of Management and her BA in Economics, summa cum laude, from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan, Italy. She is a CFA Charterholder.
