Derek Yam
Investment Director
Derek Yam is an Investment Director at Cambridge Associates.
Based in the Singapore office, Derek is a member of the Real Assets Investment Group and the Credit Investment Group, where he underwrites investment opportunities in private markets across primary funds, co-investments, and secondaries within infrastructure, real estate, and credit. He also works with a select group of Asian and European clients, including pensions and private clients.
Prior to joining Cambridge Associates in 2022, he was an Assistant Manager at the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore, where he led a team responsible for commercial property valuation and taxation.
Derek received his Bachelor of Science from the National University of Singapore.
