Rob Long is a Senior Investment Director on Cambridge Associates’ Co-investment Team.
Since joining the co-investment team in 2017, Rob has sourced, conducted due diligence, and executed private equity, venture capital, and real asset co-investments globally to support CA portfolios and client objectives. He collaborates with managers and investment teams to identify and transact on high-quality opportunities. Rob’s broad international experience, spanning North America, Asia, and Latin America, enables him to apply market insights and relative value analysis into his co-investment decision-making. He also serves as a member of the firm’s co-investment Investment Committee.
Rob began his career with Cambridge Associates in 2015, designing private investment mandates for retirement plans and institutional clients with assets under management of up to $200 billion. He is a frequent contributor to the firm’s thought leadership on co-investments, and is a joint author on Ready, Steady, Co-Invest, offering implementation advice to investors.
He received his BA from Vanderbilt University, an MBA from New York University and is a CFA® charterholder.
