Eugene Snyman

Eugene Snyman is the Head of Australia & New Zealand and a Partner at Cambridge Associates.

Eugene joined the firm in 1998 and has nearly 30 years of investment experience. He is responsible for overseeing the firm’s work with a variety of clients across the region, including superannuation funds, foundations, endowments and family office clients, corporations, and government-related agencies. In his role, he constructs and oversees investment portfolios, advising on investment policy, asset allocation, and manager selection across all asset classes. He also has a particular specialization in building and monitoring private investment programs.

Eugene has worked in South Africa, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Australia. He has authored several research papers and presented at numerous industry conferences and client events.

Before joining Cambridge Associates, Eugene was a portfolio manager associate with RMB Asset Management, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the FirstRand Group, one of the largest financial services groups in Africa.

He received his MS in Economics, cum laude, from the University of Johannesburg (R.A.U.) in South Africa.
