Coleman Long is a Managing Director for the Endowment & Foundation Practice at Cambridge Associates.
Coleman joined the firm in 2008 and has over 20 years of multi-asset class institutional investing experience. He currently serves as an OCIO that builds highly bespoke portfolios for endowments, foundations, and family office clients in the UK, Europe, and Saudi Arabia with assets ranging from $100 million to over $1 billion. His team has specific expertise in integrating ESG and Net Zero criteria across both traditional and alternative asset classes. Coleman is also a voting member of the firm’s tactical asset allocation and public equity manager selection committees.
Prior to joining the firm, Coleman was Assistant Director of Research and Vice President at Greenleaf Trust. In this role, he created the firm’s socially responsible investment division and initiated the firm’s exposure to alternative asset classes. He also developed the firm’s attribution analysis framework and Monte Carlo modeling capabilities.
Coleman received his MBA from Northwestern University and his BA from Yale University. He is a CFA® charterholder.
