Subhajit Gupta is a Managing Director at Cambridge Associates.

Subhajit joined the firm in 2017 and has close to 30 years of investment experience. Working from our London office, he serves as an outsourced CIO or lead advisor for a variety of discretionary and advisory clients including some of the largest family offices, foundations, and other institutions in the Middle East and Africa. Leading a team of various asset class specialists, Subhajit works closely with his clients on total portfolio management including traditional as well as alternative manager selection.

Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Subhajit was a Senior Adviser and Chief Investment Strategist at Kuwait Investment Authority (“KIA”), where he worked with the Executive Director-Marketable on global asset allocation and manager selection. Before this, he was Director of European Research at Standard & Poor’s, Head of Global Research at Moody’s Analytics Service, Head of Research at Reliance Equities Mumbai, and Assistant PM Global EM Equities at Investec Asset Management.

He received his MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management and his Bachelors in Technology and Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. Subhajit is also a CFA® charterholder and holds the Investment Management Certificate, UK. He is fluent in Hindi and Bengali.
