Riccardo Pianeti is the Head of Italy and a Managing Director for the Endowment & Foundation Practice at Cambridge Associates.
Riccardo has over fourteen years of experience as an investment advisor and portfolio specialist, serving clients globally with a particular focus on Italy. At CA, he leads the firm’s presence in Italy, providing investment advisory services in asset allocation, portfolio construction, and investment governance.
Before joining CA, Riccardo served as the Head of Quantitative Analytics within the global portfolio consulting group at Citi Wealth, where he focused on portfolio analytics, diagnostics, and cross-asset advisory for high-net-worth families, family offices, and institutional clients globally and across the Italian market. At Citi Wealth, he also sat on the leadership team of the global consulting unit and managed New York-based portfolio analysts.
Riccardo holds a PhD in Economics, Applied Mathematics, and Operational Research from the University of Bergamo, including research at Bayes Business School in London. His work on systemic risk has been published in peer-reviewed journals. He also holds an M.Sc. in Quantitative Finance.
