Quyen Tran

Head of Sustainable and Impact Investing Integration Strategy

Quyen Tran is the Head of Sustainable and Impact Investing Integration Strategy at Cambridge Associates.

Quyen joined the firm in 2024 and has over 20 years of industry experience. She leads the integration of concepts and data analytics to advance thought leadership and support clients in their sustainable and impact investing journey.

Additionally, Quyen is a Professor of Practice at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, where her students have earned top recognitions in sustainable and impact finance competitions every year. She co-authored the CFA UK Certificate in Impact Investing and serves on their panel of experts. Quyen is also a member of Harvard Business School’s Alumni for Impact Initiative and has directly contributed to publications and strategic projects for the Impact Management Project (IMP), Impact Frontiers, GSG Impact, the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN), and many others. She frequently speaks at universities and conferences around the world, including the United Nations Global Compact Leaders Summit.

Before Cambridge Associates, Quyen was BlackRock’s Global Director of Impact Investing, where she led research, standards, and strategy for impact investing across asset classes. She trained all teams on best practices in impact measurement and management and authored the firm’s first impact investing report, setting firmwide precedent. Quyen was also Head of Sustainable Investing in Fundamental Equities. At Wellington, she was the firm’s Sustainable Investment Strategist, guiding the development of their first impact strategy and authored their inaugural annual report. Earlier in her career, she advised endowments and foundations at Cambridge Associates and led the global training program for investment associates.

Quyen holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in philosophy, cum laude, from Mount Holyoke College, where she received the J.M. Warbeke Prize, the top recognition in the philosophy department. She also studied philosophy in India at the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies.
