Matt Smith is a Senior Investment Director in the Endowment & Foundation Practice at Cambridge Associates.
Matt joined Cambridge Associates in 2015 and works with endowments, foundations, liquidating trusts, and private clients across the US and Europe, with assets ranging from $60 million to $2 billion. He advises clients on asset allocation, manager selection, and the evaluation of investment programs. His expertise is at the intersection of investments and technology, and he has played a key role in the development, enhancement, and adoption of the firm’s investment, analytical and information systems.
Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Matt held various leadership positions at DTCC (formerly Omgeo), a financial technology company.
Outside of work, Matt is actively involved with Neurofibromatosis Northeast, working closely to support its mission and initiatives.
Matt earned his BBA in Finance from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is a CFA® charterholder.
