Eric Hinkel

Eric Hinkel is Head of Global Portfolio Services and a Managing Director at Cambridge Associates.

Eric has more than 20 years of experience in client-facing and operations leadership roles. In his role as Head of Global Portfolio Services, he is responsible for leading the Portfolio Implementation Management team as well as the Client Onboarding, Client Account Services, and Client Information teams, all of which support our portfolio management clients globally.

In addition, Eric serves as Chair of the Discretionary Oversight Committee. He is also a member of the firm’s Vendor Governance and Best Execution Committees and is a senior advisor to the CA Capital Board.

Eric joined the firm in 2001 as an associate and worked with a variety of institutional and private investors on asset allocation strategy, manager selection, and investment program evaluation. After that, Eric served as Head of the Global Associate Program at Cambridge Associates and later as COO of CA Capital, the firm’s dedicated discretionary platform. Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Eric worked as an investment intern at Merrill Lynch.

Eric holds a BA in Economics and Biology from Bowdoin College.
