Eugene Snyman is a Partner and APAC Regional Head at Cambridge Associates.
Eugene joined the firm in 1998 and has over 30 years of investment experience. He is responsible for overseeing the firm’s work with a variety of clients across the Asia Pacific region, including family offices, superannuation funds, endowments and foundations, corporations, and government-related agencies. In his role, he leads the strategic direction of the Asia-Pacific region, constructs and oversees investment portfolios, and advises on investment policy, asset allocation, and manager selection across all asset classes. He also has a particular specialization in building and monitoring private investment programs.
Eugene has worked in South Africa, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Australia. He has authored several research papers and presented at numerous industry conferences and client events.
Before joining the firm, Eugene was a Portfolio Manager Associate with RMB Asset Management, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the FirstRand Group, one of the largest financial services groups in Africa.
He received his MS in Economics, cum laude, from the University of Johannesburg (R.A.U.) in South Africa.
