David Vickers is Chief Investment Officer at Windmill Hill Asset Management, where he is responsible for overseeing the investment strategy and management of the philanthropic endowments established by the Rothschild family.

Prior to joining Windmill Hill, David served as Chief Investment Officer at Brunel Pension Partnership, one of the UK’s largest Local Government Pension Scheme pools, where he managed approximately £40 billion of assets across 10 partner funds. He previously spent seven years at Russell Investments as Managing Director, Multi Assets, leading a team responsible for £12 billion in assets on behalf of pension schemes, sovereign wealth funds, insurers, and other institutional clients.

With extensive experience in multi-asset portfolio management, fiduciary oversight, and sustainable investment strategies, David brings a strong track record of delivering long-term value and robust governance across complex investment organisations.
