Alessandro Amadio

Alessandro Amadio, CAIA, is a Senior Director at Cambridge Associates AG.
Alessandro is overseeing the local investment operations, including the operational implementation of investment portfolios, the trade execution and the respective performance reporting for Swiss clients. He also supports the global BRM team in respect of the operational due diligence of ILS investment managers and fund structures. In addition, Alessandro is responsible for the local finance function and liaises with external service providers and the relevant stakeholders at group level accordingly.
Previously, Alessandro was COO and Partner at SIGLO Capital Advisors AG (SIGLO), a Zurich-based investment advisor specializing in alternative investments such as ILS, private debt, drawdown management and impact investing. In November 2024, SIGLO was acquired by Cambridge Associates.
Prior to joining SIGLO in 2014, Alessandro spent eight years at Harcourt Investment Consulting AG (acquired by Vontobel Asset Management in 2011), first as a senior product manager and team leader, and later as a risk & operational due diligence analyst and member of the investment committee, responsible for conducting operational due diligence reviews and ongoing monitoring of hedge funds and fund of hedge funds. Prior to his tenures at Vontobel Asset Management, Alessandro’s professional stations included assignments at Atradius Credit Insurance NV in Amsterdam as an investment administrator and at UBS AG in Basel as a junior portfolio manager for Swiss clients.
He holds a BBA in finance from the University of Applied Sciences of Basel and is a CAIA® Charterholder. Alessandro is fluent in German and English.
