Eric Costa, CFA
Global Head of Hedge Funds

Eric is the Global Head of the Hedge Funds Investment Group. He has over 19 years of investment industry experience and has been with the firm since 2010.

In his role, Eric oversees the research and evaluation of new and established hedge fund managers globally. He also chairs the Hedge Fund Ratings Committee and serves on the Research Leaders Committee. During his tenure at Cambridge Associates, Eric has also served on the Credit Investment Ratings Committee and the Public Investments Ratings Committee.

Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Eric spent 11 years as a Director and Portfolio Manager with Ramius Fund-of-Funds Group in New York. Eric led the firm’s event-driven and long/short equity strategy research and managed several commingled single-strategy and multi-strategy fund-of-funds. He also served as a member of the Portfolio Management Committee, responsible for managing the $3 billion fund-of-funds business. Eric is a CFA Charterholder and received a BS in Finance from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. He is proficient in Portuguese.
