Annachiara is co-head of the European Endowment & Foundation Practice. Annachiara has more than 20 years of investment experience and has been with the firm since 2000. She works with the key decision makers of a variety of institutional investors on critical strategic investment issues such as asset allocation strategy, manager selection, and investment program evaluation. Annachiara has worked with several large European foundations and educational institutions to develop long-term investment strategies, define governance structures, and restructure and diversify their portfolios. She has extensive experience working with institutions that retain large concentrations in donor stock. Annachiara was integral in developing the firm’s Risk Allocation Framework, which helps investors make choices based on the role investments play in a portfolio. Annachiara is part of the firm’s Mission-Related Investing Group and co-authored a research report on the UK Social Investment Landscape. She also helped to develop a decision making framework for a disciplined evaluation of social investments.
Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Annachiara was in the investment banking division of Lazard & Freres Italy, where she worked on the restructuring of companies in financial distress. Annachiara is a CFA Charterholder, received an MBA from Yale School of Management, and graduated from the Universita’ Commerciale “L. Bocconi” in Italy.
