We have several entry-level opportunities for young professionals looking to gain experience in the financial services industry. No matter what role or team you join, CA provides a wealth of opportunities for professional development. Professional Development

New associates often participate in a multi-week, formalized training program with dedicated internal trainers and immediate exposure to senior management. We develop programs in a variety of
innovative and challenging formats to guide you through your career. Associates are formally evaluated as part of the firm’s semi-annual Performance Review Process, which includes input from peers and managers.

Ongoing Career Growth


CA offers a summer internship program for rising seniors to explore opportunities within departments including Global Investment Services, Data & Reporting, Global Business Development, Business Risk Management, and the Information Technology group. Interns will spend 10 weeks with their designated department, during which time they will receive comprehensive training, dedicated mentors, access to firm management, and weekly professional development opportunities.


Associates are at the core of everything we do at CA. From back-office operations to client-facing investment advisory, Associates have the opportunity to make a tremendous impact at the firm. Cambridge provides Associates with extensive training programs, dedicated mentors, and access to meetings with top-tier investment managers. The firm also offers support for an Associate’s pursuit of CFA, CAIA, and other professional designations.

Leadership & Internal Opportunities

Cambridge is highly regarded for its flat structure and collegial environment, which provides Associates with access and support from the firm’s executives. Associates also have the opportunity to join auxiliary teams, which allow them to extend their reach beyond daily client work and broaden their skillsets. Common auxiliary teams include: professional development, new-hire training, Excel, and finance-related groups.

Life after CA

Many entry-level employees decide to make their career at Cambridge; internal paths include developing into management roles, pursuing opportunities in different groups within the firm, and/or advancing to the ranks of Investment Director. Associates who leave the firm typically depart to pursue an MBA at a top-tier business school or go work for a family office or one of CA’s many clients.
