Research Associates (Alternative Assets)
Research Associates (Alternative Assets) gather, analyze, and disseminate information and data about alternative assets investment markets and fund managers.
Principal Duties
- Assist Research Consultants with due diligence including reference checks, strategy evaluation, terms review, performance evaluation and summary memos.
- Act as primary contact for investment managers and facilitate registration of manager with Firm.
- Manage flow of information to alternative assets staff and consultants.
- Collaborate on collection and analysis of data for inclusion in periodic alternative assets research reports
- Coordinate and address research requests
- Represent the Firm at annual manager meetings and industry conferences when required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (any major) with record of achievement
- Familiarity with MS Excel, accounting and alternative investments preferred
- Proven quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests, while ensuring integrity, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data
