Research Associates (Marketable)
Research Associates (Marketable) are responsible for the maintenance and development of the firm's proprietary capital markets, investment manager, and member information databases.
Principal Duties
- Compile data and check for validity, accuracy and consistency in reporting
- Prepare deadline-driven reports using a variety of software
- Verify data and calculations used in analyses
- Proofread reports for accuracy and presentation
- Respond to questions and data requests from clients and consulting staff
- Prepare deadline-driven special analyses for clients and consulting staff
- Work with IT professional by providing guidance for the development and maintenance of research databases, electronic surveys, and internet applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (any major) required
- Interest in and familiarity with investment concepts
- Proven analytical and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Internet search skills and ability to learn new applications quickly
- Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
