Consulting Associates (CAs)
Consulting Associates (CAs) provide quantitative, analytical and research support to our consulting staff. Each CA has multiple client assignments and must arrange his/her schedule and priorities to meet deadlines; however, the strong tradition of teamwork and cooperation among CA teams helps staff manage their workloads. In addition, while the position involves quantitative analysis, the firm offers extensive training to ensure that employees of varying levels of experience succeed.
Principal Duties
- Use in-house computer models/databases to create asset allocation and spending policy.
- Provide background research on investment managers across all asset classes.
- Use in-house computer models/databases to analyze client and investment managers' stock or bond portfolios.
- Prepare materials on market valuations and performance.
- Interact with client representatives to complete requests.
- Participate in investment manager research meetings.
- Attend client meetings as requested by the consultants.
CA Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree (any major) with a record of high academic achievement
- An interest in investments
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Solid quantitative skills
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
