Consulting
A consulting career at Cambridge Associates provides immediate exposure to unmatched coverage of the investment world, as well as a chance to work alongside knowledgeable finance professionals in a collaborative environment. Our consultants advise clients on the management of institutional and family assets with a primary goal of enhancing the long-term investment performance of the clients' portfolios.
- Investment Consultants cover all asset classes and engage in extensive client contact. The Investment Consultant combines quantitative and qualitative analysis on a diverse range of financial topics with managing client relationships.
- Specialist Consultants focus solely in one alternative asset class, either private equity or hedge funds, which allows the specialist to become an expert in this area. The role of a Specialist revolves around client work, research, and being a resource on alternative assets within the firm.
- Consulting Associates (CAs) provide quantitative, analytical and research support to our consulting staff. Each CA has multiple client assignments and must arrange his/her schedule and priorities to meet deadlines; however, the strong tradition of teamwork and cooperation among CA teams helps staff manage their workloads. In addition, while the position involves quantitative analysis, the firm offers extensive training to ensure that employees of varying levels of experience succeed.
