
Sandy Urie is Cambridge Associates’ President and Chief Executive Officer and has been with the firm since 1985. Prior to assuming the CEO position, she was the Chief Operating Officer with responsibility
for directing the firm’s consulting practice.
Before Sandy joined Cambridge Associates, she worked as a member of the faculty at Phillips Academy (Andover) where she taught Russian language and served on the Admissions Office staff. She also served on the School’s development office staff where she had responsibilities for capital fund raising and eventually assumed the position of Associate Secretary of the Academy with responsibility for the School’s annual giving and alumni programs.
Sandy was a member and vice-chair of the Investors' Committee of The U.S. President's Working Group on Financial Markets (2007-2010) focusing on defining best practices in alternative assets, including due diligence and ongoing oversight. She currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the Yale School of Management, the Board of Overseers of the DeCordova Museum, the Board of Visitors of the New England Baptist Hospital, and the Board of 100 Women in Hedge Funds. Sandy also currently serves on the Boards of The Plymouth Rock Company and Homesite Group Incorporated. She formerly served on the Boards of Phillips Academy, Belmont Day School, and Buckingham, Browne & Nichols School. Sandy was an honoree at the 2005 "Women Who Make a Difference" award ceremony, hosted annually by the National Council for Research on Women.

Scott is the Chief Operating Officer at Cambridge Associates. He oversees all of the firm’s consulting and internal functions. Scott previously worked as a consulting associate and then a consultant
at Cambridge Associates from 1991 to 1995 and re-joined the firm in 2002. During that time, he worked with a wide range of nonprofit and private clients and also helped to oversee and develop the firm’s modeling capabilities.
Before Scott joined Cambridge Associates, he worked at Monitor Group as a strategy consultant with a focus in health care and financial services, leading projects in areas such as merger integration, marketing strategy and segmentation, and organizational design and strategy. He also served as the head of U.S. recruiting.

Scott serves as president of the Harvard University Band Foundation, a foundation that supports a group of Harvard-affiliated performing arts organizations. He graduated from Harvard University and received an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.

Frank serves as Chief Financial Officer for Cambridge Associates. He is responsible for overseeing and managing all financial activities of the firm. This includes oversight of the following areas: tax and
treasury; internal and external reporting and analysis; budgeting, forecasting, and planning; and accounting operations.
Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Frank was an Assistant Controller at the Forum Corporation, where he managed accounting operations and financial reporting. He joined Cambridge in 1992 as the Controller before serving as the Chief Financial Officer.
It has been both fulfilling and challenging to oversee the company's financial functions as we continue to grow our client base both domestically and internationally.
Frank is a graduate of Northeastern University with a BS in accounting.

Steve is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Cambridge Associates. He has been with the firm since 2007. In his role, Steve oversees our global compliance and legal functions.
Before joining Cambridge Associates, Steve worked for seven years in the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, most recently serving as an Assistant District Administrator in the SEC's Boston office. In that role, he managed two branches of supervisors, attorneys, and paraprofessionals with responsibility for enforcement of the federal securities laws in the New England region. Prior to that, he worked as a litigation associate in a Boston law firm and served a judicial clerkship with a federal district court judge.

Steve graduated from Harvard University and received his JD from Stanford Law School.

Jody is a Co-Director of Consulting and a Managing Director of the firm. In her role as Co-Director of Consulting, she works closely with the Boston, Dallas, London, and Menlo Park office leaders in
managing the consulting practices in each location. She works with Steve Nelson in cross-office coordination for the firm's consulting practice as a whole. She also manages the firm's consultant performance evaluation and compensation process and consultant recruiting efforts, and assists with staffing and professional development for our consulting staff. Additionally, Jody serves a select number of clients as an investment consultant.
Jody began her career with Cambridge Associates as a consulting analyst, eventually being promoted to senior consulting analyst and team leader before leaving the firm for business school. Before she re-joined Cambridge Associates in 1999, she was Manager of Team Operations with the National Basketball Association in New York, where she directed the league-wide Revenue Assistance Program, provided strategic consulting to the front offices of all 29 professional basketball teams, and helped to create the operational and strategic plan for a new developmental league, the NBDL. Prior to this, she was an Associate with McKinsey & Company, Inc in their Boston and New York offices.

Jody graduated from Harvard College magna cum laude and received an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Steve is a Co-Director of Consulting and a Managing Director of the firm. In this capacity, he works closely with the Arlington, Singapore, and Sydney office leaders in areas such as staffing, professional
development, and recruiting. He collaborates with Jody Fink in cross-office and group coordination for the firm’s consulting practice as a whole. He plays a similar role with respect to the firm’s Mission-Related Investing group and continues to serve a variety of clients in Asia on general investment issues. Steve joined the firm in 1998, and relocated to Singapore in 2001 to establish the firm’s presence in Asia, leading the development of our consulting practice in the region until June 2008.
Steve has authored several research reports, including Japanese Distressed Investing, Chinese Venture Capital, and Investing in Listed Chinese Equities. He regularly represents the firm at industry events and presents at the firm’s client conferences. From 2002 to 2004, he was a member of the Financial Services Committee with the Singapore chapter of the American Chamber of Commerce.

Lindsey is the Director of Global Client Service and Relations and a Managing Director of the firm. In this role, she oversees the firm’s global client relations, strategy, services, and communications. In addition, she is one of eight executives sitting on the firm’s
Senior Management Team.
Throughout her tenure with the firm, Lindsey has held various management positions and also has served, and continues to serve, as an investment consultant to nonprofit institutions on general investment issues such as asset allocation strategy, manager selection, and program evaluation. Prior to her position as Director of Global Client Service and Relations, Lindsey served as the firm’s Managing Director of External Relations as well as the Director of Consulting Services. As Managing Director of External Relations, Lindsey oversaw the firm’s global business development and client relationship management activities. As the Director of Consulting Services, she managed the consulting practice across the firm’s U.S. and international offices and oversaw the consulting, analyst, marketing, training, recruiting, client service, and staffing departments.
Before Lindsey joined Cambridge Associates in 1999, she was the strategic planning officer, and later, a portfolio analyst/manager for the Hancock Timber Resource Group. In her portfolio management capacity, she was responsible for investments of over $400 million in both a commingled fund and separate accounts for corporate and public clients. Lindsey was also a senior consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton, where she consulted to the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Coast Guard. In addition, Lindsey has worked in various capacities for three nonprofit institutions.
Lindsey is the Chair of the Firm’s Sustainability Council. In addition, she is a Director of the New England Forestry Foundation, a member of the Quebec Labrador Foundation Advisory Council and volunteers as a Junior Achievement Instructor. She graduated from Dartmouth College with an academic citation for her research in Earth Sciences and received a Masters in Environmental Studies from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies (with honors) and an MBA from the Yale School of Organization and Management where she received an academic citation in negotiation.

Deirdre is the Director of Business Development and a Managing Director of the firm. She is responsible for overseeing all of the firm’s global marketing and public relations activities, and plays an integral
role in business planning and strategic direction setting.
Before Deirdre joined Cambridge Associates in 2003, she spent seven years at Fidelity Investments where she held a variety of strategic marketing and consulting roles. Her most recent role was Senior Vice President of Marketing for the charitable services area, where she was responsible for launching their private foundation services business in addition to being responsible for marketing The Fidelity® Charitable Gift Fund. Prior to her Fidelity experience, she spent eight years as a strategy consultant at Price Waterhouse and CSC Index, where she was responsible for developing strategic plans, market entry strategies, and organizational efforts and strategies for financial services organizations. She also spent four years as a commercial banker then commercial lending officer at Bankers Trust Company.

Deirdre graduated cum laude from Mount Holyoke College with a BA in economics and received an MBA from the University of Chicago. She is an active fundraiser for several educational causes.

Kristen is the Director of Non-Marketable Alternative Assets Research and Consulting and a Managing Director of the firm. She joined the firm in 1996. In her role as Director of Non-Marketable
Alternative Assets Research and Consulting, she oversees a team of consulting and research professionals. Kristen has written a firm research report on venture capital and periodically presents at the firm's client conferences.
Before Kristen joined Cambridge Associates, she spent ten years in the non-marketable alternative asset field. She worked as an associate at Schroder Ventures in London, where she identified and evaluated private equity investment opportunities. Prior to this, she focused on healthcare investing as an associate at Medical Science Partners, a Harvard-affiliated venture capital group in Boston.
Our team has personally visited hundreds of cities worldwide to research potential investment opportunities for our clients. Particularly in my arena, this diligent effort can have tremendous impact on a client’s returns.
Kristen graduated from Harvard University and received an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

David is the Director of Hedge Fund Research and Consulting and a Managing Director of the firm. He has been with the firm since 1989. In his role as Director of Hedge Fund Research and Consulting, he
oversees a team of consulting and research professionals. He has also been a presenter at various industry conferences.
Before David joined Cambridge Associates, he was Vice President, Project Finance at Bank of New England. In this role, he originated, structured, and negotiated complex non-recourse financings for clients throughout the United States. Prior to this, he was the Assistant Vice President, Communication Division, at Bank of Boston, where he was involved with structuring and syndicating financing for companies in the entertainment and communications industries.
We are very fortunate that we have been able to develop long and established relationships with managers, which often results in unique investment opportunities for our clients.
David graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and received an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he received first-year honors. He spent three years in the Ph.D. program in history at Brown University, receiving an MA degree and completing all requirements for the Ph.D. degree except the dissertation. He has also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Peter is Co-Director of Research, the Chairperson of the Research Leaders Group, and a Managing Director of the firm. In his role as the Co-Director of Research, Peter manages a team of dedicated
research specialists in the marketable manager area based in the U.S., London, and Singapore. He oversees the development of the firm’s marketable manager evaluation process and works to continuously improve the services offered by the research group. He also has a coordinating role with regard to manager research in hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital. Peter has previously served as the Head of the Singapore office, where he managed a team of investment advisory consultants, specialist consultants, and research staff. He has contributed to several internal research projects and has been a frequent presenter at the firm’s client conferences. He has also been involved in strategic planning for the firm.
Before Peter joined Cambridge Associates, he spent nearly 30 years in the financial and investment arenas. Most recently, he was a Managing Director in the Consumer Financial Services at Great Universal Stores plc. In this role, he set the insurance, lending, and savings strategy for the financial services of the company. Prior to this, he was the Executive Director and Chief Executive for subsidiaries of the Robert Fleming Group. In these roles, he oversaw the strategic directions and management of the mutual fund business and created the defined contribution pensions strategy for the Group. He also spent almost ten years at Halifax Building Society initially managing the in-house pension fund and later as the Managing Director of the financial services business.

Peter graduated from Durham University. He qualified as a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy and is an associate of the United Kingdom Society of Investment Professionals. He is also a regular member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute.

Celia is the Co-Director of Research and a Managing Director at Cambridge Associates. Celia oversees the firm’s published research, and she is responsible for establishing the firm's
view on asset allocation in the current environment and for editing and providing guidance to the various authors of the research reports produced by the firm. Celia specializes in topics involving capital markets and investment planning and has authored a variety of research reports throughout her tenure with the firm. In addition to her research responsibilities, she frequently leads discussions at the firm’s client roundtables.
Before Celia joined Cambridge Associates, she was a consultant for Harlan Brown & Co, a competitive intelligence consulting firm. In this position, she researched, wrote, and presented market analysis commissioned by Fortune 500 clients on a variety of consumer and industrial products. She also worked for the Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI), where she conducted research and wrote reports on retirement income security issues.

Celia graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and received an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia.
